SOCIAL AIMS
Our aim is to promote inclusion in mainstream activities, including employment, education, or social and leisure activities, from which some young people find themselves excluded due to additional support needs, low confidence, no qualifications, or experience.
The PUSH Charity Reuse Shop and PUSH warehouse are where we deliver our iWork employability programme ,Young People are then supported to develop skills in communication, self-management, problem solving, self-belief and teamwork. This is the skill set which can be transferred to all employment. We support the development of a trainee’s progress by providing peer support which experience has shown as having the greatest benefits to new trainees. PUSH have a staff team of 17 with 9 of the staff being young people who in the past were trainees on the iWork programme. One of the main keys to living in a fully inclusive community is employment as this then leads to financial inclusion which can open doors to housing and social inclusion. We offer opportunities to gain qualification where practicable.
COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT

Since 2010 we have found that our work in reduce, reuse, recycle, repair and retail provide the greatest range of successful skills acquisition , job satisfaction and community engagement for our main client group.
Our commitment
We have a strong commitment to the expansion of our services, ideally in conjunction with other community and statutory organisations whose vision and strategic aims are fully compatible with our own. Partnership working is a fundamental part of our strategy. Our iWork programme will be developed in consultation with the trainees enrolled in the programme, their voice is crucial to our development.
