The PUSH Charity Reuse Centre and iWork Programme
The PUSH Charity Reuse Charity is a wholly owned trading arm of PUSH Charity Limited.
The shop offers a works skills development programme for people with learning disabilities or additional support needs through the iWork Project. The programme provides skills development and work experience through Perth & Kinross Councils Employability Pipeline funded by European Social Fund (ESF).
The right candidate will be educated to a good standard and be an excellent personal communicator. Possess creative skills have a supportive manner.
As the Assistant Manager, you’ll help the Shop Manager with the day-to-day running of our Reuse Centre and support the iWork trainees between the Reuse Centre and Warehouse.
In this key role, you will:
– Recruit, train, motivate, manage and support our iWork trainees, peer mentors and volunteers
– Identify ways to generate donations
– Carry out display and merchandising activities
– Keep records
– Handle cash
To join our passionate team, you will need:
– Retail experience
– Staff management/supervisor
– Strong IT skills
– A good understanding of health and safety best practice
– Great communication and customer service skills
– Full Driving Licence
